Who we are and what we do

NHS Pathology is the Data Controller for this website under the Data Protection Act 2018. We will process your data in accordance with the Data Protection Act. The purpose of the Privacy Policy is to inform you as a user of the site about what information we collect when you visit the site, how we use the information, whether the information is disclosed and the ways in which we protect users' privacy. 

We want you to feel secure when visiting the site. We are committed to respecting your privacy. Below we give an overview of how we do that.

In addition, consideration will also be given to all applicable Law concerning privacy, confidentiality, the processing and sharing of personal data including the Human Rights Act 1998, the Health and Social Care Act 2012 as amended by the Health and Social Care (Safety and Quality) Act 2015, the common law duty of confidentiality and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations.
